Paavai College of Nursing and Research, Department of Mental Health Nursing, organized a field visit on 16.10.2025 to CSI Balar Gnana Illam, a home for mentally challenged individuals in Hasthampatti, Salem. The visit was part of the third-year Mental Health Nursing curriculum. A total of 57 students and 4 staff members participated in the visit.
During the visit, the students conducted interactive and enthusiastic games and presented gifts to the winners. Cultural programmes were performed for the children, and eatables were also distributed to them. This activity provided the students with valuable practical exposure while bringing joy to the residents of the home.
