International Nurses Day was celebrated by the Students Nurses Association (SNA) at Paavai College of Nursing and Research with enthusiasm based on the theme “Our Nurses. Our Future. Empowered Nurses Save Lives.” On 12th May 2026 at Nightingale Hall.
The Principal Dr. Hepsi Rachal Chellarani addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of the Nurses Day theme and the vital role of nurses in providing quality healthcare and compassionate care.
As part of the celebration, based on the nurses day theme a Poster Competition and Quiz Competition were conducted among the nursing students. Students actively participated and showcased their creativity and knowledge related to the Nurses Day theme. Winners of the competitions were awarded with prizes.
The programme concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members.
