Paavai College of Nursing and Research, Namakkal, organized various health awareness activities as part of World Breastfeeding Week from 01.08.2025 to 07.08.2025. The programs included health education sessions, a nutritional exhibition, poster presentations, role plays, and the distribution of informative leaflets at different hospitals and community areas.
A health talk was delivered by the nursing faculty and students on the theme of world breastfeeding week 2025 by WHO “Prioritize Breastfeeding – Create a Sustainable Support System”. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Amudha, M.B.B.S., Block Medical Officer, Primary Health Centre, Vinayatheertha Puram, Namakkal. Approximately 60 students participated in the program.
