International women’s day celebration for2022 was organized by the Indian Medical Association, Namakkal on 6th March. Fifty students of IV year and III year B.Sc Nursing participated in the rally carrying posters and plug card with the word “ Stop Violence against women”. Rally for 1 km started from Government Medical College Hospital, Namakkal through Mohanur Road, Trichi Road and ended at Government Medical College Hospital. Certificates were distributed to the students who took part in the Rally. Awareness was thus created to the General Public.
