In continuation with World Tuberculosis Day, On 24th March, Students of Paavai College of Nursing and Research participated in the “National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme – 2025.” It was organized by Medical and Rural Health Services, Namakkal, at Government Medical College, Auditorium, Namakkal. Four students along with 2 Faculty attended the programme. Dr. ShanthaArulmozhi, Dean, Government Medical College, Namakkal, Dr. Raj Mohan, Joint Director of Government Medical College, Namakkal, Dr. J. Prabhakaran, Assistant Director of Government Medical College, Namakkal. Dr. K. Jayanthini, Assistant Director of Leprosy Department were theguest speakers and given speech on Tuberculosis elimination by the year 2025. Moreover, Signature collection campaign was conducted to raise the awareness of tuberculosis elimination. “TB FREE INDIA PLEDGE” was taken by the students and health care workers. Our students received ‘Appreciation Certificate’ and ‘shield’ for joining the Rally on 21.03.2022.
