In commemoration of The World Cancer Day 2026, students of Paavai College of Nursing and Research conducted an awareness programme at Primary Health Centre, Rasipuram on 04.02.2026.
The programme aimed to create awareness among the general public through health education and chart presentations. The theme of the event was “United by Unique” Campaign. Students from the 5th and 7th semesters actively participated in the awareness programme. Placards highlighting cancer awareness were prepared and displayed, and relevant information was explained to the public. The students were highly benefited by the programme, which helped to enhance knowledge and awareness about cancer among the general public.
