In Association with – The TN Dr. MGR Medical University, World Hypertension Day was observed on 12.06.2024 at Paavai college of nursing and research. Our students actively participated in the screening and awareness camp, at Paavai college of nursing and research campus and at Primary health center, Puduchatram, Namakkal District. The Screened data was uploaded in the Google form as given by the University, and forwarded to the University on 13.06.2024. Health Education corner was set at the Primary Health Center and the students were educating & creating an awareness regarding Hypertension and Its Management, like the importance of Life style Modification, Diet and Exercises by using Charts & Pamphlets. The participants were highly benefited and gained awareness regarding the Hypertension, Management and its Prevention.
